Scholarships

  • MATC Foundation Scholarships - Overall, the Foundation has disbursed more than $8 million in financial assistance to more than 27,000 MATC students.

  • External Scholarships - Hundreds of scholarships from private organizations and donors willing and eager to assist students achieve academic success
  • New Student Scholarships - Ready to open those doors but are not sure how you can afford college?
  • Emergency Assistance - Emergency and short-term book loans provide a temporary financial bridge for students who have exhausted other financial means and whose ability to be successful at MATC is in jeopardy
  • Information Technology Specific Scholarships
    • GIPAW - Scholarships are intended to defray the educational costs for full-time Associate Degree IT program students
    • Women in IT - Available to women who are pursuing an associate degree in computer Information Technology at the MATC Truax campus. In order to receive the award, student must have applied and have been accepted into one of the IT associate degree programs. Click here for 2010-2011 Application

  • Google Lime Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
      From the people at Google: Access to knowledge is our thing. When it comes to higher education for promising scholars, we don't want anything to stand in the way. That's why we're proud to partner with Lime. Google is committed to helping the innovators of the future make the most of their talents by providing scholarships and networking retreats for computer science students with disabilities. Recipients of the Google Lime Scholarship will receive a scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year. Selected students will also be invited to attend the all-expenses-paid retreat at the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA, in 2010. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of candidates' academic background and demonstrated passion - $10,000USD for those studying in the US and $5,000CAD for those studying in Canada (based on average tuition costs).
