MATC Distinguished IT Alumni Award Recipient 2009
Bernard "Bernie" Zurowski -IT Alum & Honorary Emeritus IT Faculty
Bernie Zurowski was nominated and has been selected as the 2009 inaugural MATC Distinguished IT Alumni Award recipient. Not only was Bernie a high honors graduate of both the Data Processing - Computer Programming (Spring 1991) and the CIS-Network Specialist (Spring 2000) programs, he was a beloved student, instructor, mentor and active member of the IT department. Bernie passed away suddenly on March 12, 2004.
Bernie represented all that is outstanding about IT@MATC. His laughter, smile and love for learning and teaching is dearly missed by former students, alumni, colleagues, and friends.
